about

Ana Inés Jabares Pita is a multi-award winning stage designer and creative director.   Born in Spain and based in London, she works internationally. She loves to craft ephemeral worlds where stories and music combine seamlessly, and every detail enhances the narrative of the performance.

She is fascinated by cutting-edge technologies, innovative materials, the play of lighting, and traditional illusion techniques. Her goal is to blend artistic disciplines and to create fully immersive, sensorial experiences for audiences. Her grounding in music from an early age fostered a deep appreciation for Opera and Live Music.

She has been privileged to work with renowned UK artistic organisations including Glyndebourne Opera Festival, the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre of Scotland, West End theatres as well as museums including the V&A Museum, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the GAIAS in Santiago de Compostela.  Her designs have been enjoyed on international stages, opera houses and museums all over the world.
